Olympia’s Top Knee Specialists
The knee joint is especially vulnerable to injury and pain as the bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments of the knee joint absorb the full weight of the body while standing, walking running and during athletics. Because knee injuries and conditions can be complex, the Fellowship Trained and Board Certified Knee Specialists at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates create a unique treatment plan based on your injury and lifestyle to help you improve their symptoms and get back to a healthy and active life.
The Knee Specialists at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates are experts in both Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and treat all knee injuries and conditions. The most common of which include the following:
- Arthritis of the knee
- Cartilage damage
- ACL Tear
- Meniscus tears
- Osgood-Schlatter disease
- Sprains and strains
- Patella Tendon Tears
A nonsurgical treatment plan is used to treat the majority of knee injuries and conditions. Treatment plans may include medications, physical therapy, bracing, activity modification, and injections.
If non-surgical treatments have not been effective, or a tendon or ligament is severely damaged, arthroscopic surgical procedures are usually recommended.
